Clear Car Armor — Paint Protection Film

BUILD ESTIMATE

Self-healing clear film against Alaskan gravel, salt, and debris.

Overview

Paint protection film (PPF) is an optically clear, self-healing urethane layer applied over your vehicle's factory paint. It absorbs rock strikes, mag-chloride, insect etching, and everyday wear that would otherwise chip, stain, or scratch the clear coat.

Our Process

How it's done.

  1. 01

    Inspection

We inspect paint condition, identify defects, and confirm coverage scope with you.

  2. 02

    Decontamination

Full strip wash, chemical decontamination, and clay bar to eliminate embedded contaminants.

  3. 03

    Correction (as needed)

Light paint correction removes surface defects so nothing gets sealed under the film.

  4. 04

    Installation

Bulk or pre-cut patterns are installed in our climate-controlled bay by trained installers.

  5. 05

    Cure & inspection

Film cures under controlled conditions and receives a final multi-point QC check before pickup.

WTY

Warranty

Manufacturer warranties on approved films cover yellowing, cracking, and delamination for the term specified in your quote. Warranty terms are confirmed in writing before installation.

CARE

Aftercare

Wait 7 days before washing. Hand wash with pH-neutral soap, avoid pressure washing film edges within 6 inches, and skip automatic brush washes. We provide detailed aftercare with every install.

FAQ

Frequently asked.

Q.How long does PPF last?
Warranty terms depend on the specific film selected and are confirmed in writing before installation. Real-world life in Alaska typically ranges from 7–10 years with proper care.
Q.Will I see the edges?
Edges are wrapped or knifed cleanly and are nearly invisible on most panels. Certain custom coverage areas may have a barely visible edge line.
Q.Does PPF replace ceramic coating?
They work best together — PPF absorbs impacts, ceramic coating adds hydrophobicity and easier cleaning. Ask us about the bundled PPF + Ceramic package.
